Dr. Bobbi has been in practice since 1993 as a primary care physician with a specialty in Lyme and chronic disease and treats all ailments from simple ear infections to chronic hard-to-treat illnesses. Dr. B sees patients of all ages with a special interest in treating the LGBTQ+ community.
Dr. B grew up in New York (you can still pick up a trace of an accent despite living in Seattle for the last 30 years!), and before becoming a Naturopathic Physician, was an exercise physiologist and doctoral student treating cardiac rehabilitation patients and teaching at Universities in the Northeast. Dr. B is very happily married to their wife Tiffany, and they have three adult children who still like to hang out with them willingly!
After having a family member become very ill with Lyme disease in 2008, Dr. B did extensive research, including becoming an ILADS trained Lyme literate physician (including training with Ray Stricker, MD in San Francisco). Since then, Dr. B has helped diagnose and treat persistent Lyme disease in patients all over the U.S. However, when some patients did not respond well to Lyme treatment, Dr. B did more research and began studying the link between mold illness, MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity), and chronic disease.
Dr. Bobbi believes it is essential to address the whole person when treating patients. Of course, the physical is always primary (you need to rule out a biological reason for the symptoms, AND relief of suffering is never a bad thing!), but mental, emotional, and spiritual health plays a critical aspect on the path to wellness.
Spiritual isn’t Religious but a connection to something greater than our ego.
For the last two years, Dr. Bobbi has been exploring relationships as a spiritual pathway in their own life and has come to know (not just believe) that LOVE and connection are the most incredible healing forces that exist. Dr. Bobbi believes in meeting patients “where they are,” and if you believe that the mind and body are powerfully connected and influence your health — Dr. B would happily explore this area of inquiry with you.
